It works differently here. You talk, and the text is there. Dictation is a new way of working with your computer and with AI, and it is faster than typing.
Dictation on all your devices
You talk instead of typing, in any app where you can enter text: your mail, your chat, your documents, your browser. Your own word list holds the names, jargon and abbreviations from your work, so they reach the screen spelled correctly.
You ask your AI to change your spreadsheet: “take this quarter's tab, leave out the trial customers, add up the hours per customer and put a chart next to it that I can show tomorrow.” Out loud, that is one breath. Typed, you cut it back to “make me a chart”, and that is exactly what you get.
Typing pushes you to keep it short, talking does not, and the more you tell your AI the better it understands you.
Online and in-person meetings
The decisions that matter in your work get made in conversation, and that is exactly what evaporates the moment it is said. So chatsbuddies captures the spoken word: from conversation to transcript to summary. What is captured can be read back, and that is the basis for reflection, for getting better and for an organisation that runs more smoothly.
Your conversations come back as a summary: what it was about, what you agreed and what still has to happen. For an online meeting we join digitally; for a conversation at the table you record it.
Afterwards everyone knows what was agreed, including the people who missed it.
